Pilling test

Pilling of clothing refers to the phenomenon that the clothing is subjected to mechanical friction during wearing, and the fibers are exposed to the surface of the fabric to form fluff. After continued friction, the fibers are entangled and then become balls. Pilling is a dynamic performance, and the pilling speed often changes with the wearing time. There are many factors that affect pilling, including fiber type, fiber fineness, yarn twist, organizational structure, fabric style, finishing technology, wearing habits, and so on.
