Hexavalent chromium content

The water-soluble and non-water-soluble hexavalent chromium compounds in the sample are leached using alkaline leaching solution. The hexavalent chromium in the leaching solution reacts with diphenylcarbazide in an acid solution to form a purple-red complex. Spectrophotometric measurement was performed at a wavelength of 540nm.
