Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

The sources of PAHs are divided into natural sources and man-made sources. Natural sources mainly come from the biosynthetic processes of land, aquatic plants and microorganisms. In addition, natural fires in forests and grasslands, volcanic eruptions and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons also exist from fossil fuels, lignin and sediments; anthropogenic sources are mainly derived from various sources. A variety of fossil fuels (such as coal, oil and natural gas, etc.), wood, paper, and other hydrocarbons are formed by incomplete combustion or pyrolysis under reducing conditions.
