Azo dye test

Azo dyes are dyes that contain an azo group -N=N- in their molecular structure. At present, about 70% of synthetic dyes on the market are based on the azo structure and are widely used in direct dyes, acid dyes, reactive dyes, and metals. Complex dyes, disperse dyes, cationic dyes and polycondensation dyes all contain azo structures.
